AAP Immunization Information For Homestead Parents

AAP Immunization Information For Homestead Parents In the past century, the rates of many serious diseases in the United States have significantly declined, in some cases, they have been virtually eradicated.

Many Homestead people have never met a person with measles, polio, small pox, rubella, tetanus, or diphtheria; though these diseases killed thousands of Pennsylvania children in past generations.

One of the main reasons many dangerous communicable childhood diseases have been minimized in our area is due to Braddock children’s immunizations. The increase in immunization use has gone a long way to improve health in our Pennsylvania communities.

Recently, I have noticed that many Homestead parents are questioning the children’s immunization schedule. I came across an informative American Academy of Pediatrics FAQ sheet that addresses most of the common concerns.

The AAP document entitled ‘The Vaccine Schedule, Why Is It Like That?,’ can be downloaded at http://www.aap.org/healthtopics/immunizations.cfm

I certainly learned a lot after reading the FAQ sheet and thought I would tell you about it here in my Homestead children’s health blog.

I think it is important for all Homestead parents like myself to be reminded of the scientific evidence that supports the use of the immunization schedule.

I am Homestead children’s health advocate Adam Paul Green. Call me at 801.437.5984 to learn about my favorite healthy snack for Pennsylvania kids.

‘Homestead CSRs: Hang Up Your Headsets And Call Me!’

Hang Up Your Headsets And Call Me

Some Homestead people without sales experience wonder if they have what it takes to run their own direct sales business. I think customer service experience is more important than sales experience in Homestead because customer service specialists know how to focus on the customer.

Why do some home business owners in Homestead struggle? A common reason is because they focus more on selling than serving their customers. Top selling Homestead home business owners put the customer before anything else. When they do that, everything else falls into place.

The business owner’s passion for the product is important, but not more important than providing attentive customer service. If you don’t satisfy your Homestead customer, it doesn’t matter if you have the most amazing product in the world.

Homestead customer service specialists make great Xocai XoBiotic Squares direct sellers. If customer service is your forte, hang up your headset and call me today at 801.437.5984!

Podcast Basics For Homestead MLM Business Bloggers

Podcast Basics For Homestead MLM Business Bloggers

Today’s Homestead direct selling article is for Homestead internet rookies who want to kick up their web marketing a notch by adding a podcast to their Homestead home business blog.

A podcast is a multimedia file that is downloaded for playback on a mobile device such as an iPod or laptop computer. It can be a digital recording of a radio program or, more often, a program produced solely for online distribution. A podcast can be a recording of a webcast: a live Homestead program that is ‘streamed’ or broadcast on the internet in real time. When this is the case, it is similar to a DVD recording of a live program that you store in the database of your playback device.

A related term is the acronym RSS which probably originally stood for Rich Site Summary feed but is sometimes used for Really Simple Syndication. You have probably seen the term RSS on websites. An RSS feed allows digital files to be downloaded in a standard format. Braddock podcast listeners often subscribe to favorite ongoing podcasts. When new podcasts are produced, they are automatically downloaded by RSS applications.

It is fairly simple hardware- and software-wise to product your own podcast for your Homestead online business
. Your laptop may already have recording capability. If not, you can buy any equipment you need in the Braddock area.

Homestead business owners operating on a shoestring will be happy to know that basic recording and editing software can be downloaded for free. If you want to get fancy, you can always buy more sophisticated software at Pennsylvania specialty computer stores. I recommend using a headset microphone so the mic is always in the right spot to get a clear and consistent recording.

Now the fun part: what will you podcast? The possibilities are endless for Homestead direct marketers. You can record Pennsylvania trade show presentations, interviews with founding distributors of your Homestead direct sales company, or create an entertaining pitch about your Braddock business opportunity. Let your expertise and enthusiasm shine.

Creating a podcast gives you a chance to connect with potential Homestead customers or downline members in a personal way.

Are Multivitamins Necessary For Oakmont Kids?

Are Multivitamins Necessary For Oakmont Kids?

Hello Oakmont! Welcome to today’s Oakmont children’s nutrition post. I am Adam Paul Green, and I promote children’s health in Oakmont and the 84062 zip code area.

Today’s post discusses children’s vitamins. Many Oakmont parents give their kids a chewable or liquid multivitamin. We all know that it is essential for Oakmont kids to get sufficient amounts of vitamins and minerals and we often give them a pill to fill in nutritional gaps, just in case. Are multivitamins necessary for Oakmont kids?

I have found that Oakmont pediatricians have varying opinions about this issue. Some Braddock children’s doctors recommend parents give their children vitamins in pill form or at least don’t discourage it.

More importantly, Oakmont pediatricians urge parents to feed their children a variety of nutritious foods, presumably because vitamins and minerals in foods are better absorbed.

The Mayo Clinic website offers the following advice for Oakmont parents who give their children a multivitamin:1

Make sure the multivitamin is designed for your child’s age group.
Choose one that provides 100 percent of the daily value (DV) for all vitamins and minerals.
Store multivitamins out of your child’s reach and make it clear that they are not candy.
Don’t use multivitamins as a replacement for proper nutrition.

I sell a great-tasting healthy snack packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and other good stuff for kids. To order, contact me today.

Energy Drinks Pose Health Risks For Oakmont Kids

Energy Drinks Pose Health Risks For Oakmont Kids

Hello Oakmont! Welcome to my children’s health blog. I am a concerned parent and advocate for improved children’s health in the Oakmont area.

Today’s topic is energy drinks. Many Oakmont teens are under the false impression that energy drinks like Rock Star and Red Bull are similar to sports drinks such as Gatorade and Powerade.

Energy drinks are completely different from electrolyte replacement drinks and we need to help our children understand the health risks they pose. Energy drinks contain dangerous chemicals that can harm kid’s growing bodies, especially their teeth.

Energy drinks contain citric acid, fruit juices and extracts, sugar, and a dangerous chemical that gives them their bright color. They can damage tooth enamel with prolonged use.

It is important for us Oakmont parents to model healthy behavior for our children. If your kids see you guzzle energy drinks, you may want to think about the example you are setting.

I sell child-friendly nutritional products that are enjoyed by healthy Oakmont families. To order healthy energy-boosters, visit http://adampaulgreen.com/.

Internet Safety For Homestead Kids

Internet Safety For Homestead Kids

No Homestead parent wants their child to be exposed to Internet pornography, however, this tragedy occurs everyday. Why is there such a disconnect?

Some Homestead parents may not realize that their young child can navigate the computer like a pro. Others may believe that their child would never go looking for inappropriate material.

If you think your Braddock kids are too young to worry about it, don’t be so sure. Pennsylvania parents continue to report that they found out too late that their child was exposed. I urge you to take precautions now.

With Internet pornography increasing everyday and young people succumbing to this cybermonster, Braddock parents wonder what they can do to prevent this from ever happening to their kids.

This advice bears repeating: Homestead parents should put the computer in an open area so that it can be monitored. In addition, many forms of web protection are available for free. Though it is time-consuming, Homestead parents would be wise to only allow their child use the Internet with Mom or Dad present.

Talk to your kids and ask them if they have encountered Internet pornography. Ask them what they did or what they would do in such a situation. Though this is a secondary concern: explain to them that certain web pages and ‘pop ups’ contain viruses that can damage the computer. Open communication is essential.

If your Homestead children have encountered pornography, perhaps at a friend’s house, emphasize its destructive nature and teach them that what they saw is degrading to men, women, and healthy relationships. Internet pornography is a plague with many Homestead victims, including children. It is up to Homestead parents and youth leaders to help Homestead children be safe online.

My name is Adam Paul Green and I care about Internet safety for Homestead kids. For more information about child raising topics, or to hear about a new healthy kids snack, contact me today at 837adampaulgreen@adampaulgreen.com.

Is My Pennsylvania Baby Ready For Solids?

Is My Pennsylvania Baby Ready For Solids?

Although Homestead pediatricians generally recommend starting infants on solid foods when they are around six months of age, there are important developmental milestones that must be reached before your baby can take this step.

Even if an infant’s digestive system is ready for solid food, the baby must be able to safely swallow it. A baby should be able to sit with assistance but hold his or head up on their own. Without head and neck control, eating solids is difficult and dangerous. Many Homestead pediatricians also advise parents to wait until an infant shows interest in what other family members are eating.

If you are unsure if your infant is ready for solid food, check with your Homestead pediatrician. Remember that for the first year your baby’s nutrition will still come primarily from breast milk or formula.

My name is Adam Paul Green. I am an advocate for children’s health and nutrition in Homestead. I also sell Xobiotic Squares, a nutritional powerhouse. For more information on Xobiotic Squares, call me today at 801.437.5984.
